Native Origins Calm Legs

Calm Legs by Native Origins promises to calm jumpy legs and promote restful sleep. There is a reason this was placed in our second tier. Even though the price point is lower and of course appealing, the cost is that the active ingredients are also found to a lesser degree than our Editor’s Choice pick. There is only one type of Magnesium found in the formula, instead of two, and whatsmore, the dosage of Magnesium in this product is far less than many of it s peers. There are B Vitamins included, but only 2, as opposed to a complex of 5 B Vitamins found in the product above. While there is a large dose of Valerian Root Powder in Calm Legs, there are no other calming herbs to be found here. Additionally, there is also a lack of L-theanine and Vitamin D. However, this product does include Vitamins C and E and is made with natural ingredients. In addition, there is no ingredient added to boost absorption for speedy results, such as BioPerine, which is a shame. That said, we do like this manufacturer and feel that they formulated a decent option to try and soothe restless legs.

When reviewing this product, we were pleased to see a price tag that suggests quality – not too cheap, but definitely affordable. We appreciated the fact they tried to include many quality ingredients. Unfortunately, we felt that they were simply lacking some key ingredients that are backed by scientific research and their formula came with a mixed bag of reviews that left us unsure of its effect. They could also have definitely improved the kind of guarantee they provide but we realize that a good guarantee usually comes with a manufacturer’s confidence in the results you will experience so that could explain why.

NutriPurity Rested Legs

NutriPurity Rested Legs claims to provide fast relief for restless leg syndrome, great sleep all night long and a refreshed feeling all day. But can you count on the ingredients in this formula to follow through on these claims? We were happy to see that this product does contain a beneficial blend of proven ingredients, however, not all the ingredients and/or ingredient doses matched what we were looking for.  

We liked the fact that this product contains Magnesium, Iron, Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid), Valerian and Chamomile. However, there is only one type of Magnesium in these capsules and it is found in a very low dose of 100 mg. There is a nice serving of Vitamin B9 as Folic Acid but there are many more beneficial B Vitamins that are not included at all. In fact, many Vitamins are completely missing, such as Vitamins C, D and E. There is also no L-theanine found in this formula. We were surprised as it is an amino acid shown to aid sleep quality. We also would have preferred to see the addition of BioPerine as it gives an absorption boost to health supplements. You can have the best-made capsule but if it is not properly absorbed into the body, you will not receive any of its benefits.      

There are many impressive reviews on NutriPurity Rested Legs’ website. While these are wonderful to read, we also experienced less positive reviews on Amazon. Many customers have written that this product simply does not work. Luckily, this supplement manufacturer does offer a money-back guarantee.
